DO Utiel-Requena - coupage between a local variety and a well-known international variety. The tardana is fermented and aged in French oak barrels with its lees for 4 months and then blended with the Sauvignon blanc.

DO Utiel-Requena - The wine is clean, with a high intensity rubi colour.
Aromas are complex and have high intensity. Blackfruits (Blueberry and blackberry), toasted notes and some sutile floral (violets).
Taste, acidity is medium to high and full bodied. In the mouth the blackfruits and the toasted flavours are present.
The flavours linger for long time.

Company portrait
We are a small winery located in Requena (Valencia, Spain), and our obsession is making high quality wines with great attention to detail.
We work mainly local varieties and we offer a small range of wines and low production. We take a lot of care of the production to extract the best potential from the grapes
We put all our effort in every part of the process, from the vineyard to the winery. We also believe in design as a strategy that contributes as a great value to our business.
Our work begins at the field. We try making our wines an expression of the vineyards
It is very important for us the respect to the product
We only can produce an excellent wine if we have the best grapes
Old vineyards, with more than 50 years, transmit to the wine all the "terroir" qualities
All the grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery in 20 kg boxes.
At the winery, we are very respectful with the grapes for conserve all the qualities
Handmade is the way for us, and the way to produce excellent and unique wines
We use new French oak barrels for aging ours wines, getting the perfect balance between the fruit and the wood.
