O ALBOREXAR 4.0

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Kind of wine: Red Ribeiro.
Varietes: Mencia
Elaboraton: The stems are removed from the grape
bunched, and the grapes are sofly crushed to do a maceraton bofore the fermentaton.
Fermentaton takes place in truncated conical steel 3.000 liters tank for a minimum of 10 days.
Once alcoholic fermentaton is fnished, a sofly pressing is
done with a manual vertcal press, and then It is returned to
the tank to do the malolatc fermentaton.
Finally, It is naturally decanted untl It is determined botling
tme.
TASTING NOTES:
VISUAL PHASE: Cherry red color.
SMELLING PHASE: Medium intensity with red fruit
and mineral notes.
TASTING PHASE: The palate is medium bodied,
fresh, long, with good fruit expression, sof tannins and a pleasant fnish.

O ALBOREXAR BARRIQUE

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Kind of wine: Red Crianza Ribeiro.
Varietes: Brancellao, Caínho, Sousón and Ferrón.
Elaboraton: Fermentaton takes place in truncated conical
steel 3.000 liters tank for a minimum of 10 days.
Once the alcoholic fermentaton is fnished, sof pressing
is performed in a vertcal manual press and It is passed to
french oak 225 liter barrels, where the malolatc fermentaton
takes place.
It stays on its own lees, making regular batonages to keep
them in suspension. Time in wood is determined by tastng,
and once completed, it is passed back to the steel tank for
decantaton and maturaton untl it is determined the tme of
botling.
TASTING NOTES:
VISUAL PHASE: Cherry red color with garnet refectons.
SMELLING PHASE: medium-high intensity, with
black and red fruits well integrated into the toasty
notes from the wood. Hints of licorice and cut
grass.
TASTING PHASE: the palate is tasty, creamy and
dense, with some oiliness, great body. Complex,
with long fnish. Well-oaked wine with fruity sensaton. Hints of roasted white fruit, cinnamon and
with a short spicy fnish.

Company portrait

Traditional family wine cellar located in Galicia (Spain) focuses in producing quality wines (D.O. Ribeiro and Monterrei).

TRADITION
Located at Ribeiro´s heart, our winery was founded
three generations ago, and It follows a Centenary
tradition in the winemaking industry.
LOCATION
Looking at the map of Europe, It is located in the
southwest, in Spain. Within this country, We find it in
the northwest, in Galicia, and in this regional community, to the South West of Ourense, very closed
to Pontevedra and about 45 km from the Atlantic
Ocean. The Ribeiro Appellation covers a surface area
of almost 3000 hectares, where white grapes, specially
Treixadura, are the most relevant grapes.
QUALITY
If there is something that defines the character of
our products, this is the handcrafted signature of our
work. From cultivating the best vines and selection
of our grapes to the elaboration of our wines, all of
this has done by hand and using traditional Ribeiro
techniques and respecting its natural ecosystem. The
result, incomparable quality products.
