Odyssea Crémant Blanc de Blanc

Odyssea is a signature of Vignobles Gonfrier. Odyssea wines are the reflection of an ancient viticultural savoir-faire, with simple and precise practices, entirely
vinified in oak barrels. Odyssea wines are racy, with a long aging potential.
The contour lines on the label evoke the origin of this Crémant located on steep and well exposed terroirs.
Odyssea Blanc de Blancs perfectly combines lightness and greediness. Our philosophy is guided by the search for excellence.

Château le GARDERA BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR BIO

A.O.C.: Bordeaux Supérieur rouge
District: Langoiran
Vineyard surface area: 16 hectares
Terroir: Clayey-gravelley slopes
Grapevarieties: 60% Merlot, 30%Cabernet Sauvignon, 10%Cabernet Franc
Average vine age: 20 years
Viticulture: All 16 hectares of this estate have been organically grown since the 2010 vintage. Herbicides have been replaced by ploughing the soil. The vines are protected via preventive and natural methods, with the use of minerals such as copper and sulphur. This helps preserve the vineyard’s biodiversity. We pay particularly close attention to all “green pruning” operations, such as disbudding and thinning out the leaves, which are carried out manually. Shoots are carefully thinned out to encourage the homogeneous distribution and a proper aeration of the bunches.
Vinification: The harvested grapes are destemmed, crushed and vatted. The fermentations are then carried out during several weeks at controlled temperatures. All œnologicalpractices are subject to the rules and regulations governing organic wines.
Ageing: In Frenchoak barrels during a year
Tasting notes : A lovely deep red colour. A fine nose with aromas of red berries. Supple, elegant and fruity in the
mouth, with good ageing potential. This Bordeaux wine will perfectly match with white and red

MARQUIS DE BERN Bordeaux red, white dry, Rosé, White sweet

Since 1997, the Vignobles Gonfrier have developed their grape-buying activity, purchasing grapes from some forty partner winegrowers, in accordance with
our production specifications and overseen by our technical staff. The resulting wines are vinified and aged by our own œnologists at our Chais de Rions site.
The old medieval town of Rions, with its Grand Bern “island”, was fortified as early as 1253. The marquis enjoyed a military command over the surrounding county. The history of our region is full of epic tales of these local lords, who greatly contributed to the development of Bordeaux wines. This wine pays them tribute.
A.O.C.: Bordeaux rouge
Vineyard surface area: 150 hectares
Terroir: Clayey-limestone slopes and gravelly plateau of the Entre-deux-Mersregion
Grapevarieties: 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc
Average vine age: 20 years
Viticulture: The grapes are grown on partner properties, where we participate in caring for the vines and overseeing the vineyards’ health all year long.
Tasting notes: A lovely garnet red in colour. The nose evokes red berries and black fruit, with subtle toasted notes. The attack is supple, with a round mouthfeel and mellow tannins. This modern Bordeaux can accompany a great variety of dishes thanks to its fruitiness and suppleness.

About us

Company portrait

A family-owned company situated southeast of Bordeaux, the Vignobles Gonfrier stand out for their expertise in Bordeaux wines.
We cultivate and vinify our own vineyards, representing over 682 sloping hectares overlooking the Garonne River. Grapes from an additional 550 hectares are rigorously selected and purchased from the neighbouring vineyards for vinification.
Grapes grown on the family’s plots are made into wine at the Lestiac-sur-Garonne winery, the company’s historic headquarters. Wines made from purchased grapes are vinified at the Chais de Rions. All of our wines are aged and bottled on site.
We offer a wide range of white, sweet, rosé and red wines, under the appellations: Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur, Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux and Graves.
These various appellations represent a great diversity of terroirs.
Appropriate vinification allows each of our châteaux to express its unique identity.
The Vignobles Gonfrier adhere to sustainable agricultural methods and the entire estate today boasts HVE3 (“High Environmental Value”, level 3) certification. The highest certification of this category,
The conversion to organic agriculture of a portion of our vineyards testifies to our firm commitment to and respect for the environment.
The organically cultivated site overlooks the Garonne River and covers 82 hectares.
Since the 2018 vintage, the Vignobles Gonfrier have made the choice to adopt the Terra Vitis methods. This sustainable certification, created in 1998 and approaching the vineyard as a whole, put the respect of the environment and ‘Man’ at its core.
