Keltern Chardonnay
With an incredible track record of awards and accolades, the Keltern Vineyard has truly established itself as one of New Zealand’s premier sites for Chardonnay. Displaying a brilliant straw and lime tinted hue in the glass, the nose offers a fragrant and complex medley of white nectarine and gun smoke, complemented by underlying notes of flint and toast. A sleek, tightly woven palate gradually unfolds, leading to a finish with genuine length and class.

The Attorney Vineyard was converted and fully Biogro certified as organic in 2012. With aromas of bright red cherries intermingled with delicate rose petals and fresh culinary herbs. The palate is bursting with ripe strawberries with a creamy texture on the finish.

Throughout the 1960s Villa Maria was a one-man band. In 1961, at just 21 years of age, George Fistonich leased five acres of land from his father in Mangere, Auckland and started off with just an acre of vines. The first wine under the name Villa Maria in 1962 was made with grapes harvested from this block.
Today, Villa Maria employs more than 250 permanent staff, grows 28 different grape varieties, and exports wine to over 60 countries worldwide.
Villa Maria's 60 year journey at the forefront of New Zealand's wine industry has shaped the company as it stands today. Our extensive portfolio is arguably the most geographically and stylistically diverse and highly-awarded range of premium wines by any New Zealand producer, fuelling consumer adoration and success across the globe.
