Characteristics of the vintage
After the 2013 harvest, autumn continues with the appearance of long-awaited rains and a drop in temperatures, in a cold and rainy season. The winter months are cool, with lots of rain and light snow, which together with the contribution of autumn rains will leave around 430 l / m2 in our soils, increasing the water reserve before the start of the vegetative cycle . In the beginning of spring there are intense rains that are accompanied by low temperatures, delaying all the work of tillage of the soil and the development of the vegetative cycle. It is not until the end of April when sprouting occurs after an increase in temperatures. May is cold and unstable, with abundant rains, causing a small development of the leaf surface and a delay in the vegetative cycle. It is not until the end of June, with the beginning of the summer period and some sunny days, when the flowering of the bunches takes place, and after this a perfect fruit set. The vineyard develops correctly in a few months of July and August, warm and with some storms. Around August 7, berries are found in most vineyards, beginning a slow and irregular veraison that will continue until the beginning of September. Maturation develops correctly in sunny months of September and October. The harvest begins on October 8 and is characterized by a good climatology in its development, an average production and an excellent maturity both physiological, phenolic and aromatic.

Manual harvest in boxes of 12kg of grapes from vineyards of an average age of 30 years. Grapes selected in a table and destemmed in a semi-manual manner, immediately afterwards they are placed in concrete tanks manually (without pumps). Controlled alcoholic fermentation in a temperature range of 26º-28º in a deposit of 9800 liters of concrete. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks.
15 months in French oak barrels with 1 wine, to preserve the fruity aromas of the wine, and to highlight the Terroir from which the grapes come. In the case of tempranillo the format of the barrels is 300l, in the graciano barrels of 300l and 500l to preserve the freshness and more authentic floral notes of the graciano variety. Periodic racking is carried out every 6 months.
13 months of aging in cement deposit for refining (Porosity provides a very interesting evolution to the wine similar to the micro oxygenation in the barrel, but without added flavor or added aromatic as would bring the barrel giving notes excessively woody, in this way the evolution and maturity of the fruit of the wine is enhanced, letting the wine be expressed as it is).
Intense cherry red color with violet tones. Its aromas of red and black fruits from tempranillo, and more floral aromas typical of the Graciano variety stand out. It shows on the nose, powerful, with spicy notes in a very fine and subtle characteristic of the Graciano when it evolves. The palate is fine, silky, with a long and very elegant finish highlighting a very fruity final freshness provided by the Graciano grape.
