Château du Moulin Rouge

Château du Moulin Rouge is located in the commune of Cussac-Fort-Médoc. It has belonged to our family for 13 generations and is now a well-reputed Cru Bourgeois in the Haut-Médoc appellation.

This estate has 27 hectares of vines which are grown traditionally.
This entails working the soil, leaf thinning and green harvest. The vines are meticulously tended and the grapes are exclusively hand-picked.
The new generation considers it a major priority to make wine responsibly, which is why they obtained level 3 HEV (High Environmental Value) certification.
Barrel ageing lasts for 12 months.

L'Ecuyer du Moulin Rouge

L’Ecuyer du Moulin Rouge (Haut-Médoc) is the estate’s second wine.
Vineyard is certified HEV3 (High Environmental Value) and Vegan. Grapes are exclusively hand-picked.

Production amounts to approximately 15,000 bottles a year. This very charming, easy-to-drink wine is eminently enjoyable.
It has a lovely ruby-red colour and is tremendously round and smooth on the palate. It is very popular thanks to fruity flavours and silky tannin.
