Fermented in stainless steel tanks for approximately 12 days at 28ºC. Use of selected yeasts.

AGING
Aged for 18 months in new French oak.

TASTING NOTES
This specimen expresses the maximum intensity on the nose, finesse, elegance and harmony generated by our terroir . On the nose: notes of fresh red fruits, raspberries, cassis and truffles accompanied by delicate spicy hints. Its oak aging brings aromas of coffee and chocolate amalgamated with fruity notes typical of this varietal of San Pablo Estate . The palate is intense, with sweet and elegant tannins . A long finish , hard to forget. A wine that represents the art of precision from the vineyard to the glass.

FERMENTATION
A cold pre-maceration takes place 8ºC for 5 days to extract color and aromas and post maceration for 20 days. Fermented in stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days at 28ºC. 100% malolactic fermentation done directly in first use French oak barrels.

AGING
Aged for 24 months in first use French oak barrels. Stored in bottle at least for 12 months.

TASTING NOTES
Intense pruplish red color. Flavors and aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruits, dried plums, figs, fruits compote and jams. Has a nose with very subtle floral and menthol notes. Its passage through oak provides notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Presence of sweet and ripe tannins. A specimen with an elegant personality, intense in flavor and an impeccable balance.

TASTING NOTES
The deep red colour anticipates the aromatic intensity of this specimen
full of aromas and flavors of blackberries, raspberries and dried plums, too notes of spice and cassis. Its passage through oak provides notes of roasted coffee, dulce de leche and dark chocolate, well integrated with the fruit flavors red. The tannins are ripe and gentle. An exquisite specimen.

FEATURES: This property is characterized by outstanding North-South, not as is a normal slope from west to east, giving different characteristics to their wines with good colourimetric intensity, intense aroma and good structure.
Not only Las Uvas State is certified organic by the OIA, but all the products we use (yeasts, enzymes) are certified GMO (genetically modified organisms) free.
The oak barrels are only of first use (new). The rest of the process is held with the corresponding traceability from vineyard to bottle product.

A cold pre-maceration takes place (5-8ºC) for 5 to 8 days to extract colour and aromas. Fermented in stainless steel tanks for approximately 10 to 14 days at 28ºC.

TASTING NOTES
Citrus and white flowers aromas stand out with a delicate touch of ginger. On the palate citrus flavours with pink grapefruit and lime accompanied by the tropical guava. It is a fresh and intense specimen, with balanced acidity.

WE HAVE THREE WINERIES EXPRESING THE BEST FROM EACH REGION:
I) Tapiz Winery, San Pablo, Mendoza represents the Uco Valley with the high altitude vineyards.
II) Zolo Winery, Agrelo embodies the quality of what is known as Mendoza´s first wine region, Luján de Cuyo.
III) Wapisa Winery, Atlantic Patagonica represents our newest incursion into the maritime Patagonia.

We have 1074 hectares in the most strategic regions of Argentina. Located at different altitudes and latitudes, ranging from 30 to 1,400 meters above sea level, and embraced by the imposing mountains of the Andes or receiving the cool breeze of the Atlantic Ocean.

Fincas Patagonicas ' s success is base on their terroir, their technology and, above all, their reliable and experienced team. Jean Claude Berrouet, who retired after having presided over 44 vintages at the revered Bordeaux winery -Chateau Petrus– joined winemaker Fabian Valenzuela in 2012 to work for Tapiz exclusively in Argentina.
