JACOULOT story dates back to the 19th century.
Vincent Jacoulot, founder of the distillery was an eau de vie amateur.
In 1891 he began distilling Marcs and Fines de Bourgogne” using only de-stemmed Pinot Noir grapes .
The success came fast , his eaux de vie became well-known first in Burgundy, then in France and abroad.
Jacoulot won many prestigious rewards of national contests which express the quality of “haute couture” and terroir products.
Since then, Jacoulot spirits range has been enlarged by a range of liqueurs and fruit creams , the result of plants, flowers and fruits maceration .
Together with the Marcs and Fines Jacoulot, those fruits creams and liqueurs are respecting the companys premium quality philosophy.
Since 2014 , and due to historical Jacoulot's tradition of ageing , some of our best oak casks used for the maturation of our famous Marcs de Bourgogne are regularly sent to Scotland for further maturation of exceptional and rare HIGHLAND Malt Whiskies.
Creative and innovative, Jacoulot has, since, extended its range to meet the growing demand for intense flavours products.
