Our products

Product category: wines from Pfalz

2018 Kallstadter Saumagen Riesling trocken

The 2018 Kallstadter Saumagen Riesling shows itself with light straw yellow and golden reflections in the glass. The complexity of the bouquet is inspiring with its animating citrus and herb aromas, the scent of vineyard peaches underlines the aromas of local fruits. The smell of vanilla beans gives the wine a high tension.
The sweet spice of the bouquet and the salty minerality on the palate complete the impression of this elegant wine. A juicy pineapple-banana fruit opens in the palate and gives the wine a deep taste. Its complex diversity also inspires in the aftertaste.

2018 Ungsteiner Herrenberg Riesling trocken

Our Herrenberg Riesling impresses with light yellow with pastel-colored nuances. The delicate Riesling bouquet is like freshly picked lemons and local stone fruit aromas at the same time. Juicy green apple and crunchy pear support the aroma of this wine.
In the aftertaste, the harmonious scent oflocal herbs open up and make you want more. The taste keeps what the nose promises: on the tongue the wine presents an animating acid play with a refreshing citrus note in the finish.

About us

Company details

The Weingut am Nil wine estate was founded in 2010 and has been producing top Rieslings since then. The Schuster winemaker family had previously farmed the property since 1841. The Schusters used the Palatinate and Kallstadt lion as the emblem on their label. As bound by tradition, the Nil also adopted the lion’s head on its label and it stands at all times for expressiveness and dynamism. The large Saumagen and Herrenberg vineyards in particular are distinguished by their unique terroir. The wine estate has its lion’s share in Saumagen with 3.5 hectares. As the parcel of land bears the name “Nil”, the wine estate adopted this as it’s own name. At the moment the wine estate cultivates roughly 26 hectares of vineyards in Kallstadt and the surrounding area.
