About us

Company details

Clos de Lôm is a family-run winery founded by S. Dupuy De Lôme in 1836 in Valley dels Alforins, Valencia, Spain. We are a single state vineyard and our goal has always been to produce top-quality wines that best express our terroir. The beauty of Clos de Lôm wine lies in the fact that its heritage and tradition can be kept alive without compromising modernity. Clos de Lôm wines aim to express the quality and geographic uniqueness of our facilities in Valley dels Alforins.
Our wines are made exclusively with grapes from DO Valencia, displaying superior quality worthy of the name, near Valencia in the east part of Spain. This area is mainly renowned for its indigenous varieties’ grapes; Monastrell, Garnacha, and Malvasia being cultivated successfully. In our estate, we also cultivate the Spanish flagship grape Tempranillo. All our monovarietal young wines come from these grapes. Our prime location’s estate provides great growing conditions for the vines with mainly clay and limestone soils. The climate is characterized by mild winters, hot summer days, cold nights and a fresh sea breeze; the Mediterranean Sea is only 55 km far away. Most of the low bush non-irrigated vineyards are harvested manually.
Every hillside, every terrace, every elevation, and every aspect offer us a different micro-cru: The pure expression of these unique sites has from the beginning defined our winemaking philosophy.
The time has come for sharing our best Dupuy De Lôme kept secret: wines intensely genuine.
