Vinhas do Lasso White Colheita Seleccionada 2018

GRAPE VARIETIES: Arinto (50%), Fernão Pires (50%)
COLOUR: Brilliant citric colour.
AROMA: Good intensity aroma of flowers and topical fruits.
TASTE: Lively and fresh attack. Good body. Unctuous and creamy mouthfeel, with the tropical notes and white flower of the Fernão Pires, in perfect blend with the citric notes of the Arinto.
WINEMAKING: Careful management of vegetation to optimize the aromatic potential of grapes. Manual harvest. Selection of the best bunches at the entrance of the cellar. Stemming and crushing, the must was clarified in 48-72 h by natural settling in refrigerated vats. Fermentation in cement tanks, using only indigenous yeast, with controlled temperature at 15-16 C for 14-17 days.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Aragonez(60%), TourigaNacional(30%), Castelão(10%)
COLOUR: Bright red.
AROMA: Exuberant aroma of ripe fruits, spices, menthol, evolving to vanilla notes.
TASTE: fresh and mineral start, associated with the Atlantic influence. Red Fruit and Spicy notes, goodbody, long finish with notes of cocoa. Great wine to drink by the glass or to be paired with food.
WINEMAKING: Sustainable viticulture practice. Careful vine management to enhance all the fruit potential. Handpicked grapes into 20kg cases followed by an exhausted selection of bunches in the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts (natural fermentation) and temperature controlled at 24-28ºC during 14 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. Ageing for 9 months in second and third year French oak barrels.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, TintaMiuda, Alfrocheiro
COLOUR: Deep, dense anddarkred.
AROMA: Mature fruit aromas of cassis, black currant and cherries, with complex earthy and meaty notes.
TASTE: Full, rich deeply flavouredpalate, soft and dense with well structured tannins. long and persistent after taste.
Showing nice bottle development now, but will continue to improve over time.
WINEMAKING: Careful vine management to enhance all the fruit potential. Handpicked grapes into 20 Kg cases followed by a exhausted selection of bunches in the cellar. Temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 14 days in a temperature range of 24-28º C, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aragonez and Alfrohceiro aged for 9 months in third year French oak barrels .

GRAPE VARIETIES: Aragonez (50%), Castelão (50%)
COLOUR: A posh pink colour!
AROMA: Fresh fruity aroma, mainly strawberry and gooseberry
TASTE: Soft, fresh and good minerality, associated with the Atlantic influence, with notes of red fruit and with an evolving finish, revealing a food friendly rosé.
WINEMAKING: After 5 days in Sur Lies followed by two days of decanting at a temperature below 5 ° C., fermentation occurs naturally in the cement tanks and batonage during 2 months.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Arinto (100%).
COLOUR: Brilliant colour.
AROMA: Elegant and shy, characteristic of the grape, it expresses citrus aromas, where the lime is highlighted, with notes of orange blossom. Mineral.
TASTE: With the creaminess characteristic of Quinta do Pinto’s profile, the mouth has citrus notes standing out, but also combined with a very pleasant freshness. Persistent mouthfeel.
WINEMAKING: Careful management of vegetation to optimize the aromatic potential of grapes. Manual harvest followed by Selection of the best bunches at the entrance of the cellar. Stemming and soft crushing, the must was clarified by natural settling in refrigerated vats. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks with controlled temperature. 10% of the Arinto fermented and aged for 5 months in old french oak barrels to enhance the complexity of the wine.

Grande Escolha Red 2015

GRAPE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Miúda, Petit Verdot e Merlot
COLOUR: Deep garnet colour.
AROMA: Rich and Intense, with notes of black fruit and spices, namely licorice, due to the ageing in the oak barrels, combined with the characteristic floral aroma of the Touriga National.
TASTE: Creamy, velvety texture and well tamed tannins, with notes of red fruits, licorice and chocolate. End of mouth is long and very elegant. Beautiful balanced acidity.
WINEMAKING: Manual harvest into 20 kg cases with subsequent selection of bunches. de-stemming and fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a controlled from 24°C to 28°C in cement deposits, followed by a period of cuvaison for 3 weeks, which promoted greater extraction of noble elements of the skins, with subsequent fermentation malolactic. The wine aged for 13 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels.
