Alento Rose 2017

Climate: Continental Mediterranean.
Warm and dry days with large daily temperature
amplitude.
Soils: Clay.
Grape Varieties: 85% Aragonez and 15% Touriga
Nacional.
Winemaking: Hand Harvesting. Direct pressing.
Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a temperature
of 14/15o
C.
Tasting Notes: Intense flavor of red berries. Good
softness with well balance acidity, which prolongs the
feeling of freshness. Made to be drunk young.

Alento White 2017

Climate: Continental Mediterranean. Warm and dry
days with large daily temperature amplitude.
Soils: Clay.
Grape Varieties: 50% Arinto, 40% Antão Vaz e 10%
Roupeiro.

Winemaking: Hand harvest. Skin contact for 8
hours. Fermentation
in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 12ºC, for 8
weeks.“Battonage” during 4 weeks.
Tasting Notes: Made entirely from Portuguese
grapes, this wine has a cintrine colour and an aroma
of citrus fruits with mineral notes. Balanced in the
mouth, with a good, well-integrated acidity that
gives it freshness and length. Must be drunk young.

Grape Varieties: 40% Aragonez, 40% Trincadeira, 10% Alicante Bouschet
and 10% Touriga Nacional.

Winemaking Process: Total de-stemming. Cold soaking for 2 days.
Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 24/26°C.
Tasting Notes:
Made mainly from grape varieties typical of the region. This wine is
garnet red in colour, with an intense aroma of red fruits, well-balanced
and with a good freshness.

ALENTO WHITE RESERVE

amplitude.
Soils: Schist.
Grape Varieties: 70% Arinto and 30% Antão Vaz.
Winemaking Process: Hand harvest. Skin contact for 8
hours. Fermentation in used French Oak Barrels.
“Battonage” during 6 weeks.
Aging: 5 months in 300L used French Oak Barrels.
Tasting Notes: Produced entirely with the Portuguese
grapes Arinto and Antão Vaz, this wine has a citrine
color and citrine flavors with good minerality, well
integrated with some oaky flavors. In the palate show
good volume with good minerality and a well
integrated acidity, that gives a freshness unusual in a
warm climate region. Long after taste.

10% Touriga Nacional and 10% Syrah.

Winemaking: Hand harvest. Total de-stemming. Prefermentation cold soaking for 2 days. Fermentation in
temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at
26/27ºC.
Aging: 1 year in 300L French Oak Barrels (30% new).
Tasting Notes: Made mainly from the typical grape
varieties of the region. This wine is garnet red in
colour. It shows a rich aromatic complexity with ripe
fruit and spice notes. Full-bodied in the mouth with
ripe tannins. It’s complex and has a long aftertaste.
