100% Margeret River (WA) fruit. Passionfruit with hints of jasmine florals. Freshly zested lemon and lime combined with green asparagus notes. 2017 Clairault Margaret River Rose

The Merlot fruit is crushed and skin contacted at low temperature for around 4 hours in order to extract colour and fragrances from the skins. The juice is cold settled prior to fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel with the aim to preserve freshness and capture aromatics. When fermentation was complete, the wine was then racked off its lees before stabilising and bottling in July of the vintage.

2016 Clairault Margaret River Cabernet Merlot

The Cabernet Sauvignon portion of the blend is de-stemmed and partially crushed, to ensure minimal berry degradation during the fermentation process. The Merlot is fully pressed to expose the delicate flesh and promote a more refined and elegant textural development. Cool fermentation results in a slower, more controlled extraction of tannin and flavour. The wine was aged in French oak for 10 months before bottling.

2018 Clairault Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Nectarines, white pear, jasmine and freshly zested limes. Palate: A crisp entry of white pear, gooseberries and white flowers, gently balanced by subtle French oak tones and vibrant acidity. Richer flavours of stone fruit are tempered by hints of cut grass, limes and gravel, leading to a finish of mineral persistence and fruit driven impact.

2017 Streicker Ironstone Block Chenin Blanc

The 2016 to 2017 vintage is reminiscent of the 2009 growing season, because the accumulated warmth up until early new year was remarkably similar. January temperatures were similar to historical data for the area, in contrast, February and March were a fraction cooler. Those who risked all by waiting for the Indian Summer were rewarded with tannin ripeness and the retention of the most beautiful fruit perfumes at relatively low sugar levels.
The 2017 vintage highlighted the importance of best practice vineyard management. The winery focused on the basics of open and sunny canopies, with balanced crop loads, so that the fruit could ripen at a reasonable pace.

About us

Company details

Who we are
Established in 2003, Single Vineyard Sellers specialises in wines with a sense of place and a story. We work with independent wineries from Australia and around the world. Our portfolio displays the exciting diversity, regionality and quality that vignerons are capable of expressing whether they are based in Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal or Germany. Outward looking Aussies, we export wines to 20 countries, and we also import bringing back unique drops from the “old world”.

We love a wine tasting, a festival, a food and wine dinner, a winemakers visit, we love the opening of a great bottle of wine! We are always talking about great wine somewhere: find out what’s on and if you want to join the party, get in touch.

What we do
With a home base in Australia, we sell wines Australia-wide. We also proudly represent our Australian wineries and own-brand wines in export markets around the world.

SVS is a supplier to major supermarket and retail groups in Australia, supported by great relationships with the best in the Australian restaurant and retail trade. You can find our wines at your favourite bottle shops, and on wine lists in cafes and restaurants everywhere.

Why we do it
It’s pretty simple – as wine lovers we want you to drink great wine that is perfectly suited to your occasion, whether that’s relaxing at home, your most special event, and anything in between.

As wine sellers we want your own wine sales to thrive, with support from our deal structures, promotions, point of sale support, own-brand products, creative partnerships and more.
