Hold Up is a distilled craft gin that perfectly fits the ancestral history of spirits developed from juniper berries. Hold Up has a base of grain alcohol, and a volume of 43%. Complete with its unique and secret recipe, Hold Up highlights the quintessence of carefully selected botany. However some clues.... On the nose, the notes of juniper combine perfectly with more pronounced citrus aromas, anise and coriander. On the palate we discover a feeling of freshness, plus fruity and floral notes with a touch of silk which extends the aromas for a long and sophisticated finish. Both the Hold Up gin bottle and in its contents span the atmosphere of a crime thriller; the night, the forbidden, the bar, the ensuing fantasy – the relaxing sip. Hold Up is a cultural replacement for the monotony and the constraints of everyday life. Its a gin, but not like any other.
Almost 250 years after its origins, Distillerie Vinet-Delpech creates «Les Brûleries Modernes», in charge of the groups brands.
BRÛLERIE This word, whose meaning is «the act of burning» dates back to the fifteenth century and originally refers to the place where we distil (burn) the “eau de vie”, the heart of Les Brûleries Modernes.
MODERNES (modern) Managed since 1991 by an engineer, Bruno Delannoy, Distillerie Vinet-Delpech today provides Les Brûleries Modernes, led by his son Jean-Baptiste, with top infrastructure (13 pot stills, 22,000 hectolitre tank storage, 3 bottling lines), a 100 hectare vineyard in the best cognac areas, as well as a young and multicultural team.
This new structure aims to create, launch, develop and support the groups brands around the world. It relies on an exceptional technical know-how, a broad commercial network, deep relationships in the world of wines and spirits, together with strong and diversified supplies. Les Brûleries Modernes are thus able to offer from now on a complete portfolio (Delpech-Fougerat cognacs and pineaux des Charentes, Hector Legrand brandy and Excellency Club Scotch whisky) and for their launching, will officially introduce their new flagship, Hold Up gin
