Côte de Nuits-Villages AOC - Area: 3 hectares (7.4 acres)
The property of Langres Cathedral since the 11th century, Clos de
Langres has long been known for the quality of its production. It
was first cited as an outstanding parcel by Dr. Lavalle in his History
and Statistics of the Vineyards and Great Wines of the Cote dOr
(1855). He stated that “the wines have the body and the colour
[such] that…they can be compared with the first cuvées of many
more well-known towns.” It was also cited as an outstanding wine
in The Great Wines of Burgundy (1892) by Danguy and Aubertin.

Ladoix AOC - The wine
The production of this parcel is on average 48hl/ha. The Ladoix
white is without doubt one of the least-known wines of the Côte,
but it compares favourably to more well-known appellations, with
its lovely pale color, elegant floral notes and its mineral touches –
inherited perhaps from neighbouring Corton Charlemagne
Located on gentle slopes at the foot of Cortons butte, the vines are
at about 250 meters of altitude. Les Chagnots has a southern exposure while Les Chaillots has a south eastern one.
A family exploitation for 4 generations. The Domaine d'Ardhuy is located on the border between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, in the heart of the Côte-d'Or, around its emblematic vineyard "Le Clos des Langres". The Domaine extends over 38.5 hectares, with some of the most beautiful appellations of Burgundy such as Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru "Petit Maupertui", Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Corton Grand Cru, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet... 45 different appellations including 6 Grands Crus, 15 Premiers Crus, 15 Villages are waiting for you to discover them.
