The story of the winemakers of the Bertoldi family started in 1932 due to the cultivation of the fertile areas situated on the moraine hills of the Benaco lake, commonly known as Lake Garda. In the 30s Emilio founds the Bertoldi Vinery and passes the passion of the winemaking to his sons Luigi e Giuseppe.Today the family tradition is continued by the new generations. In order to get a genuine product you need to think first and foremost of the cultivation of the vineyard, therefore, more than 30 hectares of vineyards are grown in harmony with nature, managed with different types of farming: rows and Verona style pergola, depending on microclimates and types of grapes. The most awaited time of the year is the harvest: many of the native varieties of grapes cultivated with lots of patience and care are meticulously selected and harvested; the result of their careful processing and an in-depth experience in winemaking are many delicious typical wines. Before being released in the bottles, our wine is subject to a careful microbiological control aimed at prolonging its life time, as well as in order to appreciate its positive evolutions.
