DISSIDENTS - L'Idiot 2018

Languedoc-Roussillon - “I am not drinking any fucking Merlot!” This familiar phrase among winelovers might well be true… if it wasn’t spoken by a complete idiot. When it is vinified without sulfur and using native yeasts, before ageing in concrete vats, Merlot can produce the sort of nice, feisty wine that is in this bottle!

MAISON VENTENAC - Préjugés 2018

Languedoc-Roussillon - It’s not like me to age white wine in an oak barrel. Barrels really aren’t my thing, but since contradiction and experimentation most definitely are my thing, I found that this kind of maturing might just lend itself to this finely sculpted, mineral Chardonnay. And what a nice surprise it proved to be! It just goes to show that only fools never change their minds. A winegrower who’s no fool
