Fulget Cuvée

From the best vineyards in Galicia´s Salnes Valley, within the “Rías Baixas” Denomination of Origin. Vines are over 25 years-old.
Vintage
Pruning took place during the months of December and January. After the flowering in June, superfluous shoots were trimmed. Throughout the summer, the crops were trimmed. and excessive individual branches were cut. During the ripening period a detailed analysis of plots kept check on the levels of acidity and sugar in the grapes. The harvest took place during September, finding the optimum level of maduration for each plot. All this works are made by hand.
Elaboration
Grapes were collected in 20 kg boxes; and stored in a refrigerated lorry whilst inside the vineyard and immediately transported to the Wine Cellar where cold pelicular maceration was applied on an average of 5 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation took place over 15 days at a controlled temperature.
Tasting
Straw yellow with slight greenish, limpid and bright. Aromatically, of medium-high intensity with stone ripe fruits, white fruits, fruits in syrup. The good acidity in the mouth refreshes the ripe fruits. Greasy, tasty, long and balanced.
Recommendations
Storage temperature should not exceed 18º or 20ºC and should never be
exposed to the sun, avoiding in all cases sudden changes of temperature.

Suitable as an accompaniment to “tapas”, shellfish, fish, rice dishes, pasta,
white meats and oriental cuisine.

Fulget 2016

A controlled vineyard (15 has.) in the sub-zone of the Salnes Valley, within the “Rías Baixas” Denomination of Origin. Vines are 25 years-old.
Vintage
Pruning took place during the months of December and January. After the flowering in June, superfluous shoots were trimmed. Throughout the summer, the crops were thinned and excessive individual branches were cut. To favour maximum exposure to the sun canopies were trimmed in August. During the ripening period a detailed analysis of plots kept check on the levels of acidity and sugar in the grapes. The harvest took place between September 16th - 23th, finding the optimum level of maduration for each plot. All this works are made by hand.

Grapes were collected in 20 kg boxes; and stored in a refrigerated lorry whilst inside the vineyard and immediately transported to the Wine Cellar where cold pelicular maceration was applied on an average of 5 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation took place over 21 days at a controlled temperature (16ºC-18ºC).
Tasting
Straw yellow with slight greenish, limpid and bright. Aromatically, of medium-high intensity with stone fruits (peach, medlar....), white fruits (apple, pear....), tropical and balsamic reminders. Good acidity in the mouth, grasy, very fruity, long and balanced.

Recomendations

Storage temperature should not exceed 18º or 20ºC and should never be exposed to the sun, avoiding in all cases sudden changes of temperature.

Suitable as an accompaniment to hors d´oeuvres, shellfish, fish, rice dishes, pasta, white meats and oriental cuisine.

It should be served at a recommended temperature of 10 to 12ºC.

Maior de Mendoza On Lees

Cultivated in privately-owned vineyards located near the Atlantic Ocean in the subzone of the Salnes Valley within the D.O. Rias Baixas.
The vines were planted long before the creation of the D.O. in what was the largest Albariño plantation at the time.

The soils are sandy and granitic. A traditional Pergola system is used with wide corridors for ventilation, and two vines per post for natural
self-regulation.
The 2018 Vintage
As always sustainable farming is practised. No herbicides, insecticides or environmentally damaging products are used. Everything is done by hand.

Pruning took place during the months of December and January. After the flowering in June, surplus shoots were trimmed. Throughout the summer the vines were thinned, and excessive individual branches were pruned. During the ripening period a detailed plot analysis kept a close eye on acidity and sugar levels in the grapes. The harvest took place between September 19th and 29th, when the optimum level of maturity was achieved for each plot.
Elaboration
Grapes were collected in individual 20 kg boxes; cold pellicular maceration was carried out for an average of 10 hours.
21 days fermentation at controlled temperatures of between 16ºC-18ºC with indigenous yeast.
Further lees ageing for a minimum of 3 months, with battonage.
Tasting
Straw-yellow colour, with a slight greenish hue, limpid and shiny.
High aromatic intensity, with notes of white flowers, orange blossom, balsamics, citrus (lime,tangerine), bone fruits (peach, medlar, paraguayan), white fruits, lychees and fine lees.
In the mouth is fresh, with good acidity, fatty and unctuous, with volume, very fruity, creamy, long and balanced.

Finca Las Tablas

The "Las Tablas" estate was planted in 1976,in slopes, over granite soils, facing the Atlantic Ocean and protected from the north winds, at an altitude of 70 meters above sea level , in the northernmost area of the Rías Baixas, away from other vineyards that can transmit disease. Planted in pergola, with 2 vines per post in competition to regulate naturally, with a great separation between posts and wide corridors to facilitate ventilation with the entry of the Atlantic wind, our main ally.These elements differentiate it and make it unique..
Vintage

Pruning took place at the beginnig of February. After the flowering in June, surplus shoots were trimmed. Throughout the summer, the crops were thinned and excessive individual branches were cut. During the ripening period a detailed analysis kept a close eye on acidity and sugar levels in the grapes.
The grape is selected bunch to bunch. Only 10% of the grape produced in the plot is dedicated for the vinification of this wine, usually from the highest area, where the roots are in greater contact with the mother rock. It is usually the last parcel of the winery to be harvested.
Elaboration
Low temperature maceration. Only the flower must is selected,static racking . Alcoholic fermentation, with native yeast
at 16-18 C.
Aged in French oak for 6 months, with its fine lees and subsequent ageing of 12 months in stainless steel tank with the fine lees; Both with Battonage. In bottle rack stays the appropriate time for its release to the market. Wine elaborated to evolve many years in the bottle.
Tasting notes when released
Straw yellow, with intense greenish hue, limpid and bright. Nose of medium-high intensity, of great complexity. White flowers, mimosas, balsamics, fresh fruits (white,bone and citrus), candied and syrup fruits,spices, with the presence of fine lees, notes of pastry, minerals, marinades and fine smoked nuances.
Intense mouth, vibrant and fresh acidity, mineral, saline, fruity, feeling fat and creamy, long and persistent also in the aftertaste.
Recommendations
Storage temperature should not exceed 18 º C or 20ºC and should never be exposed to the sun, avoiding sudden changes of temperature. Perfect with hors d'oeuvres, seafood, fish, rice, white and red meats and Oriental cuisine. It should be consumed at a recommended temperature between 10 and 12 º C.

3 Crianzas

Finca "El Hórreo", a private vineyard, Iying in the Saines Valley, within the "Rias Baixas" Origin Denomination. The stock is over 30 years old, the yield is roughly 6,000 kgrs/ha, and no penetrating or systemic products or herbicides are used in the care of the grapes.
Vintage
The vines are pruned in December and January. After blooming in June, superfluous and secondary shoots are cut off. Superfluous leaves are taken off in July. Other leaves are removed in August to let more sunlight in. While the grapes mature, analyses are carried out to measure sugar and acid levels.

Harvest is manual and took place on September, in cases of 20 kgrs.
Elaboration
Cold (8°C) ski n maceration was carried out at the winery for 9 hours, and then the grapes were gently pressed.

Alcoholic fermentation lasted 21 days at a controlled temperature of 17°C. Fine lees ageing then too k place for 9 months. Furlher ageing then too k place for 5 months in a stainless steel tank and a furlher 5 months in bottles before going to market.
Tasting
The "3 Crianzas" from this wine reflect its personality: pale yellow with brilliant gold, mature and sweet, proud of its aroma and fru ity taste. A mineral taste in the mouth.

3 chords in harmony for a wine of great liveliness, structure and a lingering afterlaste which confirms its olfactory aspect in the mouth after swallowing.
