Tasting Notes

This is a rich red-colored wine with violet tones. Possessing primary aromas of red fruit like raspberries and strawberries, this extraordinary wine explodes in the mouth with a medium body, ample, complete and harmonic, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place in french oak thanks of small capacities (10.000 litres) and the malolactic fermentation takes place directly into new french oak barrels with a medium toasting.

Ageing

16 months in new medium toasted french oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Dark cherry-red colour, highly intense, with purple reflections around the edge. A complex and powerful bouquet, with great elegance, thereby showing an intense aromatic range of mature red fruits, with tones of gooseberries and blackberries, together with brilliant balsamic tones and a hint of minerals. Very Flavourful, solid and expansive, with great body and concentration, and ample fruitiness, it is outstanding for its great structure and lively, soft tannins. Andión is simultaneously powerful and elegant, a wine of great character and long life.

Tasting notes

The result is a wine that presents an enormous concentration of color, with dark, cherry-red tones and broad flashes of ruby at the edge. A very dignified bouquet, suggestive and expansive, expressive and original, with varietal tones of mature red fruits, together with vibrant recollections of toasted-wood, spiced and balsamic aromas. On the palate, it is outstanding for its great power and concentration, thereby resulting in a very flavourful wine, great fruitiness and body, fleshy and with enormous intensity in its mature tannins, yet to be polished in the bottle. Very alive and full as a whole, a solid body and very long persistence, with great bottle-ageing potential. Serving temperature: 17°C. Decanting recommended.

This Tinto Roble wine has a deep cherry red colour with violet shades. In the nose, it is very expressive and shows great intensity. Fruity aromas like blackberries and plums stand out, which are well complemented with the fine toasted aromas in the blackground, as a result of its short ageing in high quality oak. Warm, intense and well-structured in the palate, we perceive ripened fruit flavours well balanced with the oak. Its aftertaste is silky, elegant and persistent. Vinification
Wine elaborated with grapes coming from selected vineyards. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 28ºC and 15 days maceration.

Ageing

Each wine is aged separately in 225 litres French and American oak barrels for 12 months. During this time two racking will take place. Later on, we blend and bottle the different wines obtained from different varieties and vineyards. Finally, the bottles will rest in our cellar for at least 1 year so that the wine reaches the consumer at it’s bed.

Tasting notes

Deep cherry red colour with ruby reflections on the rim. In the nose, we find pleasant touches of ripe red fruit combined with primary aromas. In the mouth, it is full bodied, intense and complex. It preserves vivacious hints of fruit combined in harmony with a high quality touch of oak. Its aftertaste is delightful and persistent.

Vinification

Wine made with selected hand-picked grapes from the Belasco family vineyards located in Sansol and Torres del Río. The vinification is done separately depending on varieties and vineyards. The alcoholic fermentation is conducted at 28ºC following a long maceration period (25 to 30 day) to get the maximum extraction of the grapes' good tannins.

Ageing

After making the coupage, the wine is aged for 13 months in new French oak barrels made in the centre of France. Later on, the wine remains in the bottle for at least 12 months in order to be at its best when reaching the consumer.

Tasting Notes

This wine has a deep red colour with light violet tones. In the nose we can perceive primary aromas of red fruits complemented by fine elegant hints of oak. In the mouth, it is full bodied, voluminous and intense with a great persistence. Its personality is marked by balsamic tones resulting from the aging in new barrels. The wine preserves a big quantity of fruit that combines harmonically with a nice touch of high quality oak. Its aftertaste is silky and persistent.

After making the coupage, the wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels made in the centre of France. Later on, the wine remains in the bottle for at least 24 months in order to be at its best when reaching the consumer.

Tasting Notes

This wine has an attractive deep cherry red colour with garnet tones. In the nose it is fine, elegant and we can perceive a great complexity with extraordinary black fruit aromas in perfect harmony with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. In the mouth, it is full bodied, voluminous and fruit driven with well integrated sweet tannins. Its aftertaste is pleasant and persistent.

Señorío de Andión Moscatel

Winemaking

The grapes remain in the vine until they achieve their over-ripening. Harvesting is performed manually, in small crates when the grapes reach between 23 and 25o BE, which endows then with the required degree of alcohol and sweetness in the fermentation process, without any other addictions. The mean yield of wine making is very low, around 1,250kg per hectare.

Alcoholic fermentation

The naturally obtained racked must with finer less is transferred to new french oak barrels for alcoholic fermentation to take place. In the first few months, several battonages are carried out.

Ageing

The barrelled wine is racked and then remains in the barrel the period that our oenologists have judged as optimun to then proceed to its bottling and the start of the long life of this wine.

Tasting notes

Intense, bright golden colour that treasures highly complex aromas of sugared dried fruit, caramel and honey. Rich, powerful and oily it reveals an extraordinary balance between alcochol, acidity and sugar. Optimum persistence and reminiscences of the Moscatel grape, a perfect assemblage with the Allier oak. All of the alcohol and sweetness is from the over ripened grape itself.

Domus Dei Crianza

Tasting

Domus Dei Crianza proffers a dark garnet colour of great intensity in the glass, similar to that of ripe cherries. Clean and bright, it reveals a slight orange tinge in its final halo. It has clear aromas of ripe red berries and compote , yielding to toasted notes, fine wood, vanilla and a slight reminiscence of dark chocolate. It is enveloping in the mouth with a mild , warm, balanced flavour and a lasting, smooth, pleasant aftertaste.

Recommended serving temperature: 16 to 18ºC.

It was at the end of the 1980 ́s when we decided to take our viticultural activity to another level with the dream of becoming a leader of high quality winemaking. Everything started to take shape with the acquisition of Bodegas Marco Real; located in Olite, capital of the Old Kingdom of Navarra and the current capital of Navarra Wine.
