end, we separate the skins from the wine, in order to
preserve its freshness and fruityness.

controlled by water showers in stain steel tanks. Skins
are keep in contact with the must with daily
pump-it-over.

It presents an intense ruby red color, with slightly violet
tones that testify to its vividness. Bright, clean with a high
layer.
aroma
It is a clean wine, open and of high aromatic intensity. In
its bouquet, preserved black and forest fruits, blueberries,
blackberries and plums, with spicy touches such as
vanilla, nutmeg and clove, perfectly assembled with the
roasted and balsamic nuances of black licorice and
scrubland, derived from the combination of American
and French oak barrels during their ageing.
palate
Wine of entrance kind, light but with body. harmonious
and velvety feeling on the palate thanks to its sweet and
friendly tannins, which provide structure and
complexity.
pairing
Perfect point of acidity ideal to accompany stews of meat,
tables of cheeses, fatty fish, foies and all the plates of
legumes, rice and pasta.

age-controlled strains over its production.
Manual harvest in 16 kg boxes. Maceration and

controlled by water showers in stain steel tanks. We pump
- it - over the must to the skins 2-3 times per day, in order to
obtain a good concentration of color and tannins.

testify its aging. Bright, clean and very high layer.
aroma
It is a frank wine, complex, open and very high aromatic
intensity. A range of ripe black fruits, as plums,

thyme flower. Complete its bouquet with balsamic
perfumes, soft vanilla, black cocoa. Roasted and clean
french oak.
palate
Powerful and mature entry, with weight and remarkable
length. Concentrated and full-bodied, its character is
reflected in its velvety and dense tannin, tamed,

cared for by Ángel Calvo, to whom we dedicate this wine.
Manual harvest in boxes. Maceration and fermentation
in French oak wood vats of 5000L for 20 days, with
controlled temperature. We soak the grapes into the
must daily, to ensure the optimum extraction of color
and tannins.

It is an opaque ruby red color, with a garnet edging that
reflects its evolution. Bright, clean and very high layer.
aroma
High intensity, frank wine and great complexity. Scented
with exotic aromas of blackberry, plum jam with touches
of caramel. Gentle spices such as black pepper and
nutmeg, conjugated with the incense that brings its aging
in French oak.
palate
Exuberant palate. The wine is powerful, it clings with real
authority, leaving smoked and notes of spices.
Structured, with very well integrated tannins. Well
balanced, full bodied, voluptuous. Velvety, shared by the
gentle acidity. Perfect to enjoy with hunting meat stew,
with a piece of grilled lamb or with rice recipes with
mushrooms.

«Valderenal State», own vineyard and exclusively used
for this wine, with a production limited to 4500 kg / ha.
The first of our vineyards to be picked by hand, during the
first weeks of September at night, to stabilize the grapes
with the low temperature.
Maceration with low temperature controlled in stainless
steel tanks for 12 hours. Then we separate the skins from
the must, in order to make an alcoholic fermentation
without no solid parts.

This wine has a nice strawberry pink color, atractive, clean
and very bright.
aroma
It is a wide wine, with a marked freshness and fruit nuances.
Orange bark with flower arrangements. Red fruits such as
red currant, raspberry and strawberry, picks a cycle of herbs
that gives it even more complex.
palate
The juicy red fruit flavors are impressively pure. The flowers
and qualities of orange peel gain strength in the final taste.
Sweet but with a clean and fast finish, with persistence of
anise and red fruit, preserves the flavors with a long finish.
pairing
For its freshness, acidity and structure, is the ideal
complement to any starter, grilled vegetables and
mushrooms, fatty and smoked fish, poultry, exquisite with all
kinds of pasta or rice dishes.

Wine with a deep cherry red color, some ruby hints at the rim.
It is bright and clear.
aroma
High intensity and great aromatic complexity. Touches of
ripe black fruit and black licorice are perceived. When we
swirl the glass, we found resinous notes and scrubland notes,
such as thyme and rosemary and eucalyptus. Great
expressiveness and complexity. After sip, touches of toasted
coffee and mocha are appreciated, notes of pure cocoa.
palate
On the palate the wine is soft but notable entry,
medium-high body. Rounded and silky tannins give it a very
good structure. Well balanced, very good acidity perfect to
accompany risotto type rice, grilled mushrooms, cured
cheeses, roasted fish or in sauce. Pork tenderloin and all kinds
of red meats.

from a different plot in order to study its personality.
We pick up the grapes handly and carry it on boxes of 16 kg.
1000-1,200 kg of grapes of which a 1/3 of grape is left no
destemmed. We step the grapes on of the traditional way and
manual soaking of the bunches during the spontaneous
alcoholic fermentation carried out in boxes of 500 kg. Malolactic
in French 6th year barrels. No proccess of filterying or clarifying.

It is medium-high cherry red color, some purple hints , very
bright and clear.
aromas
Clean and open. Medium-high intensity and complex. Fresh
wine, red fruit, such as cherries, raspberries and currants.
After swirl the wine we find flower like violets, grassy notes of
fennel and nettle. Very light toasted notes.
palate
Smooth and harmonious. Silky tannin very well integrated. It
is a wine with long finish but with fresh sensation. A wine
that invites to be enjoyed on its own, but will be the perfect
to the daily dishes, all kinds of appetizers or tapas, white
meats, pork and grilled poultry, grilled vegetables, pasta
dishes and sausage tables .

About us

Company details

Our wines are made exclusively  from  our grapes,  the plots are located in said Burgos área, with an altitude of about 830m. and its soils combine limestone, sand, clay and gravel. We have a vineyard surface of 50 hectares, and the most widespread red variety is “Tinta fina” or “Tempranillo”, with approximately 45 hectares. Next to 2 has. of Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 ha. of Merlot and 2 has. of white variety,  “Albillo”.

We bet for the respect to the land and the work of the grapevine of traditional form, continuing with the form of work that we learned of that first generation. The main objective is to follow a sustainable viticulture, a true reflection of quality wines.
