About us

Company details

In the heart of Galicia, where the steep rocks are root, cradle and shelter, where the land is transformed into wine, where the heroes sign their deeds, it is there, in Chantada, where in 1940 our history begins. It is in those years, when Manuel Méndez and Maruja Otero founded Casa Penouzos, a small establishment dedicated to the hotel trade and the sale of wines, which soon becomes a place of recognized passage and highly valued in the area.
