The Federal Council of Investments (CFI, in Spanish) was founded by the Argentine provinces more than 50 years ago, to promote the harmonious and comprehensive development of all the regions in the country. Based upon the principles of Federalism and Regional Development, it acts as a permanent body of research, financing and counseling.
The CFI is present throughout the territory of Argentina thanks to its wide network of Linking Units, which make it possible to channel both technical and financial assistance, while promoting fluent and sound cooperation with provincial administrations. Within its activities, the CFI provides commercial assistance
to Argentine companies to contribute to their business success. For that purpose, the CFI has organized over 190 trade missions abroad, allowing 5,000 micro-, small- and medium-sized companies to exhibit their products at international trade shows and to participate in previously arranged business rounds. The CFI also performs a series of training activities to offer companies the knowledge they need to operate in foreign markets effectively.
