Bodegas Alvia LIVIUS GARNACHA 2008

Rioja Alta - Wine produced with Garnacha red grapes from low-yield vines planted between 1915 and 1940. Grapes are hand-harvested in 15 kg plastic boxes. Cherry colour with maroon edges. Nuances of fresh red fruits. Cocoa, cedar, spicy and tobaccon notes over a raspberry background. Subtle mouth sensation. Silky, velvety and pleasant wine. Intense aftertaste with a sweet finish.

MILETO CRIANZA 2015

The grapes used to produce this wine come from hand-harvested Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo vines.

Grapes are destemmed and crushed and transferred to stainless steel truncated cone deposits.

Controlled fermentation at 27º C.A pneumatic press is used in the process; must is stabilized in stainless steel deposits and subsequently aged for at least 12 months in American and French oak barrels.

Bodegas Alvia, located in the Camino de Santiago, takes a completely handmade process for producing aromatic Rioja wines from the own vineyards with more than 100 years old . The harvest is done manually in boxes of 15 kilos to avoid pressing the fruits until they reach the winery to maintain the flavor of the fruit and the complexity and structure of the modern wines.

We have a selected wine classic range comprising Joven, Crianza, Limited Edition and White branded MILETO. We also produce author wines of a demanding high-end consumer under LIVIUS brand. With this passion and care we offer two families of wines with different characteristics, but with the same spirit of respect for the vine as the source of all outstanding wine.
