YARDEN Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

The 2016 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is made from fruit harvested from a number of our best Cabernet vineyards on the Golan Heights.  The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 40% were new.

The 2016 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon presents aromas of ripe black and red fruits, along with notes of tobacco, earth and hints of herbs, all with a background of French oak. This classic Cabernet displays full body, concentrated flavor and a sustained finish.

Though enjoyable to drink upon release, the 2016 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon will improve with bottle aging, and should stay in great drinking condition for a decade and more from vintage. Give the wine a go with balsamic-glazed filet mignon, Moroccan lamb tagine, or creamy polenta with slow-roasted mushrooms.

YARDEN Chardonnay Odem 2018

The 2018 Yarden Chardonnay Odem Organic Vineyard is produced entirely from grapes harvested from the Odem Vineyard. This vineyard is located at an elevation of just under 1,200 meters (3,900 feet), making it the highest and coolest vineyard in all of Israel.
The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1998, and has produced exceptional Chardonnay since its first planting in 1989. The wine fermented and aged sur lie in French oak barrels for seven months.

The 2018 Yarden Chardonnay Odem Organic Vineyard displays aromatic pear, lemon, tropical fruit and mineral notes, rounded out with hints of croissant and flowers.
This flavorful yet elegant single-vineyard Chardonnay exhibits full body with a tasty lingering finish.
Ready to drink upon release, the wine should continue improving in the bottle for some three  years from vintage, and stay in good drinking condition for up to eight years from vintage. Try pairing the wine with pan-seared salmon, chicken with Chardonnay sauce, or savory
pumpkin ravioli
