Lupus in Fabula, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore

A Vermentino on its own, that lingers in the nose with its fine intense aromas: fruity notes of white flesh fruits, pear, peach, grapefruit peel, and tiny wild flowers characteristic of the Mediterranean maquis, hawthorn and wild pear. It displays on the palate the typical light hint of almond, and mineral finish.

In Vino Veritas, Vermentino di Sardegna DOC

A rich, full-bodied wine, obtained exclusively from Vermentino grapes, as a result of a long aging process, and the constant research on which our winery prides itself, aimed to grasp and extract the quality and the potential longevity of this grape variety. Smooth on the palate it displays a fine complexity, especially tertiary notes, nutty flavours, dried fruits, figs and dates, with a hint of honey, followed by a balsamic tinge. It lingers on the palate with its long dry finish.

Bisso, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Spumante Metodo Classico MIllesimato

The must ferments in steel vats, slowly at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, riddling by hand on pupitres (racks).

Frozen disgorgement, zero dosage, minimum 24 months on the lees. The fine perlage is composed of long, densely-packed chains of tiny bubbles that rise to the surface to form a delicate but persistent crown. Fine bouquet on the nose, first floral followed by fruit and pastries. The same aromatic notes on the palate, delicious aromas emerge fleetingly, soft and slightly acidic, adding a note of crispness.

Cavè, Colli del Limbara Rosato IGT

Cavè is a rosé wine obtained from the pellicular maceration of red grapes and vinified in white. Just 8 hours of maceration give the wine its characteristic deep pink colour, while the following  vinification in white at a controlled temperature endows it with the fragrance of rose and violet, refined and elegant as a blossom. On the palate it releases notes of fruit, pomegranate and red currant.

Nessuno, Colli del Limbara Rosso IGT

This is the combination of two great grape species with different origins, blended to create a round yet robust wine. Fermentation in steel tanks, gentle délestage aimed to extract all the characteristic fruity varietal notes and preserve them intact. Aging in steel tanks and in the bottle. Well- structured and velvety on the palate, elegant bouquet, intense notes of red berried fruit. Well-balanced tannic structure with notes of liquorice and cocoa, long and satisfying finish.

Cangrande.17, Colli del Limbara Rosso IGT

Elegant and complex wine, rich in spicy nuances. The blend, composed by 70% Muristellu (Bovale Sardo) grapes and other native grapes, it displays fragrant notes of small red berries, complemented by the slight spiciness of the Allier oak aging barrique. Bright red colour, intense, clear. The slight natural acidity enhances its crispness, making it ideal for every occasion.

In the land of the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, north-east side of Sardinia, Daniela Pinna, owner and wine maker of Tenute Olbios, produces elegant and complex wines with love and respect for the environment. The 50 years old vineyard stands on a sandy-granite soil which provide wines with a natural salinity and minerality. The flavors of the terroir are blended in the wines with a personal and unique touch.

The production system follows the principles of the environment sustainability which is first in line on our priorities. We have the following certifications: 

- Vegan

SQNPI (Sustainable Integrated Farming System)
Green Care (certification on reduced water and energy consumption).

The white wines are produced with the single grape variety Vermentino di Gallura, while the red wines are a blend of autochthonous Sardinian grapes Cannonau and Muristellu.
