2016 Elisha's Chardonnay

Named for Sue-Ann’s Great-Great-Grandfather, Elisha Staff, a man known for his unwavering commitment to farming, family and community. This French barrel-aged Chardonnay displays parallel commitment to its structure, fruit and body.

Tasting Notes:
Complex and elegant with subtle oak intertwined throughout.  Fruit sensations of rock melon and pear dance with almond, vanilla and cedar notes on both the nose and medium bodied palate.  Subtle ripe apple, hazelnut, lemon zest and pastry sensations add complexity.  A sense of minerality wafts in and out of the wine.  Drink 2018-2021.  Great with poultry, cream sauces, young cheeses and anything wrapped in puffed pastry.

Fancy Farm Girl - Frissonesque Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Vineyard Data:
-harvested early September 2017 preserving acidity and fresh fruit qualities
-2016 was a hot, dry vintage, near perfect growing conditions

 Winemaking Data:
-cool fermented in stainless steel
-no blending or fining required

Tasting Notes:
Lifted and focused aromatics of tropical fruits especially passionfruit and ripe white grape notes are balanced with a clean, bright, fruit filled palate with a lengthy finish. Frissonesque is zesty and elegant from the first sniff to the very last sip. Pair with classics like asparagus in season, chèvre, pasta with lemon cream, or seafood. Perfect with a white pizza topped with herbed chicken.

Great with a frivolous culinary adventure or the simplest of cuisine.

2015 Lavelle's Vidal

SILVER MEDAL 2017 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition

Lavalle Staff was Sue-Ann's grandfather... a great lover of everything sweet including toffees, caramels, boxes of chocolate and women! He'd be particularly proud this elegant styled white wine with "medium" sweetness was named after him. Wonderful with spicy foods, light fare and perfect on it's own. (Bronze Medal-2016 OntarioWineAwards)

This fun, pleasantly aromatic white wine exhibits white grapefruit and gooseberry notes that leap from the glass.  The subtle floral notes are reminiscent of lilac and rose petal.  The refreshing acidity on the palate is kept in check with balancing residual sugar.  Clean, “grapey” and mouth-watering.  Quite memorable.  Entirely too easy drinking and leaves you wanting to open another bottle as soon as possible.

Vineyard Data:
-harvested exclusively from the estate vineyard in Jordan, ON, sub appellation 20 Mile Bench

-four year old vines used hence first vintage the vines were harvested

-2015 – warm year hence acidity nicely retained in fruit
-low yields with tiny berries

Winemaking Data:
-grapes were hand harvested into one ton bins and hand sorted
-fermentation proceeded slowly in stainless steel with selected yeast
-bottled early to retain vibrant fruit notes
