New Winery Inauguration

We are pleased to announce that on the 23rd of February our new winery was inaugurated. A mix of tradition and modernity, the new building was designed to improve our pruduction functionality, as well as to create an elegant dedicated area for wine tasting.
We will be happy to enjoy time with our visitors, tasting our wines, telling about our history and the winery philosophy.

Company details

Tenuta La Riva was founded in 2013 by Alberto Zini with the aim
of producing wines with absolute respect for the environment and tradition, while creating a cutting-edge company.
The Estate is located in Castello di Serravalle, in the Bologna foothills, at an elevation of 220 meters on predominantly clay-sandy soils.
Our winery makes its wine exclusively from grapes grown in our vineyards, utilizing natural and sustainable methods.
We produce traditional wines, such as Pignoletto, Cabernet, Merlot, Barbera and Chardonnay, as well as Lambrusco Grasparossa and Trebbiano Modenese. Our spumante and sparkling wines are produced exclusively by second fermentation in the bottle, partly according to the Traditional Method (Champagne), with aging for at least 18 months on the lees, and partly according to the Ancestral method (no disgorgement).
All the electricity needed for the winery comes from solar panels and it is produced in the company with zero impact.
