About us

Company details

Septem microbrewery is located in Orologio on the island of Evia. It was founded by the chemist-winemaker Sophocles Panagiotou and his brother, economist George Panagiotou.
Their plans for the brewery started in 2007, with their first batch of fresh unpasteurised beer produced in June 2009.

“In Latin ‘Septem’ means seven, the number that represents creation, which inspired us to create a variety of beers, each named after a different day.”

Our Philosophy
We only produce fresh, unpasteurized, beer.

We believe that hop is respectively the “grape” of beer and we select the best quality whole hops of unique varieties from all over the world, to enhance the aroma and flavour of our beers

Our beers will be a gastronomic delight to the senses, the ‘look’, the aroma, the flavour…

Awards
Septem Beers has been awarded more than 30 times in different international beer competitions.
The most prestigius award was gained during INTERNATIONAL BEER CHALLENGE  in London:
BEST BREWER OF EUROPE 2015:SEPTEM MICROBREWERY
