Described as a Distilled Gin, VOLCANIC GIN is the result of wisdom, of the process of how to make an enigmatic herb liquor, such as Ratafía RUSSET, united with the art of distilling macerated herbs and juniper to make what is known around the world as Gin.
Colour: Dark amber with a mahogany rim, clean and transparent. When poured into the glass it displays abundant, lasting legs.
Bouquet: An outstanding initial bouquet of dried grape and plum, toasted sugar and cocoa, along with a secondary bouquet of fermented, distilled cane sugar molasses. Well balanced with a tertiary ageing bouquet with highlights of toasted oak, vanilla and roasted nuts, bitter almonds and toffee caramel. There is also a hint of a Brandy bouquet, due to its final refinement in the barrels.
Flavour: A soft, structured, fleshy first taste with plenty of body and character. Well balance of acidity and sweetness, making it very palatable.
Jodhpur Reserve is aged for two years in American white oak barrels that at one time contained brandy. Macerated with vanilla and roasted cocoa, the final result is a perfect and unique gin, with notes of vanilla, dried fruits and wood.
