Recaredo Intens Rosat is a completely dry brut nature cava with no added sugar. We recommend serving Intens Rosat at around 8-10 ºC.

Serral del Vell 2008

From the 2008 vintage on, we changed the name of our historic “Recaredo Brut de Brut” sparkling wine to “Recaredo Serral del Vell” to reflect our commitment to the great terroirs of the Alt Penedès wine region.

Recaredo Serral del Vell  is a completely dry brut nature cava with no added sugar. We recommend serving it at around 10°C and opening the bottle a few minutes before serving.

M I R A N I U S

The white wine Miranius is made exclusively with grapes from vineyards owned by Celler Credo in the county of Alt Penedès (Barcelona). All of the vineyards have been cultivated in accordance with the principles of organic, biodynamic agriculture.

In Celler Credo’s vineyards we let plant cover grow spontaneously between the vines. This cover plays a crucial role, loosening the soil, regulating water retention and drainage (essential in the dry farming system we practise), and helping to foster
biodiversity and maintain a balance in the vineyard ecosystem. Natural treatments based on medicinal plants (phytotherapy) are applied to the vines to control the presence of fungus and strengthen the vine’s defences in a natural way.

All Celler Credo grapes are harvested by hand to ensure the excellent quality of the fruit.

Miranius is a lively young wine that is very vibrant and ages well in the bottle. It is made 100% from the Mediterranean variety Xarel·lo and has strong varietal character with crisp acidity and a good palate. To achieve this, we work with very low production volumes in our vineyards, taking great care over ripening with the aim of producing wines with natural, fresh acidity. Celler Credo’s wines ferment always on yeast from our vineyards.

This wine may contain natural sediments due to our minimal intervention. All  our wines are grown, produced and bottled on the property.

Aloers

The white wine Aloers is made exclusively with grapes from La Pedra Blanca family-owned vineyards in the county of Alt Penedès (Barcelona). All our vineyards have been cultivated according to the principles of organic, biodynamic agriculture.

Aloers offers the freshest, most genuine expression of the Mediterranean Xarel·lo grown on calcareous soils. Celler Credo’s team wants to ensure a wine of great vivacity that can have a long life in the bottle.

Aloers is made by allowing the must to macerate for a few hours with the stems and then leaving the wine on the lees for approximately one month and a half. Celler Credo’s wines ferment always on yeast from our vineyards.

Aloers seeks to give the fullest possible expression to the terroir and may have completely natural sediments due to our minimal intervention. All our wines are grown, produced and bottled on the property.

Can Credo

The white wine Can Credo is made exclusively with grapes from a family-owned vineyard in la Pedra Blanca Estate –in the county of Alt Penedès, Barcelona. All of the vineyards have been cultivated according to the principles of organic, biodynamic agriculture.

maintain a balance in the vineyard ecosystem. Natural treatments based on medicinal plants (phytotherapy) are applied to the vines to control the presence of fungus and strengthen the vine’s defences in a natural way.

All Celler Credo grapes are harvested by hand to ensure the excellent quality of the fruit. Before pressing, the grapes used to make Can Credo wines are inspected on a manual selection table. 

Can Credo offers the maximum varietal expression of the Xarel·lo grape grown in a calcareous soil in a Mediterranean climate. This wine is gently macerated on the grape skins and the pressing yield is very low, getting the most subtle fraction
of the must. The must ferments on yeast from our vineyards in used oak cask, after which the wine stays in the cask for about two months.

It may contain completely natural sediments due to our minimal intervention. All our wines are grown, produced and bottled on the property.

Genuine terroir character

At Recaredo we farm just 65 hectares of family-owned vineyards in the Bitlles Valley Highlands, in the county of Alt Penedès (Barcelona). The Bitlles winds its way through a varied landscape of forests, hills and ravines, including sites of great natural beauty, all dominated by the imposing presence of the mountain of Montserrat.

As grape growers and winemakers, we’ve specialised in long-aged Brut Nature cavas, entering into a tacit agreement with the land and tradition, a pact under which we seek to articulate truly honest stories, to express the distinctive features of the landscape through wines, vintage after vintage.
