Toscana Igt Rosso
Area of production: S. Giovanni dAsso – Siena
Grape varieties: Sangiovese 70%, Merlot 30%
Vinification: 15 days of fermentation under controlled temperature of 22C°, followed by maceration on skins for 10 days.
Aging: merlot rests in french oak barriques for 6 months, then the blended wine refines for 2 months in the bottle before the sale.
The winery Loghi has actually 4 hectares in production, and they are cultivated with Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Colorino, Fogliatonda, Trebbiano and Malvasia grape varieties.
