Gran Callejon del Crimen

Gran Callejón comes from our terroirs of Altamira, Gualtallary and Vista Flores. Each year, we manufacture the best Malbec Blend the land can offer. It is always a different wine, harvest after harvest. From Gualtallary, given its calcareous soils, we achieve a Malbec with a more challenging structure. Altamira provides a Malbec with a rounder and softer texture. Thanks to its stony soil and the cool breeze from Los Andes, in Vista Flores we obtain thicker textures with a deep violet colour.

Gran Reserva

Our “Gran Reserva” line has won many awards and it is renowned worldwide. It is an outstanding “Smart Buy” year after year. The aromatic richness of this line perfectly matches the vanilla and the chocolate from its 12-month ageing process in new French oak barriques.

About us

Company details

Our winery is located at the foot of the Tupungato hill, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina.

We have all the production resources for making wine both in concrete tanks and in stainless steel tanks.

When we receive the grapes, during harvest, all bunches and seeds are kept inside a refrigerating room in order to prevent the start of the fermentation process.

We pay special attention to the production details, using first-line oenological supplies.

Depending on the line, we use French oak barriques of 160, 250 and 500 litres, and Slovenian oak casks of 6,500 litres each. The room with the barriques and the room where we stow the finished product have a programmable refrigeration system in order to prevent any sudden variation in temperature.

Lastly, the research and development area is in charge of performing different types of microvinification based on the exploration of selected grapes from different areas of the Uco Valley.
