Small Summery of Regions History

The winemaking culture in Georgia was developing and evolving for 8,000 years. World’s many scientists claim that vine cultivation originated in South Caucasus, particularly in Georgia.
Historically, Kakheti region is the center of Georgian winemaking, while Tsinandali, where Besini has its vineyards, has unique characteristics and microclimate. This is why Tsinandali is considered to be the center of country’s winemaking. Mission and Vision of Besini

The mission of Besini is to meet the demands of the international market for wines via producing world standard goods and delivering them. It also envisions promoting the dissemination and popularization of Georgian wine in foreign markets.

The company aims to maintain Georgian traditional winemaking and viticulture, to breed the unique vines, to disseminate the method of vineyard cultivation and to produce the best quality wines.

Besini holds 4 Gold, 7 Silver and a bronze medal and has received certificates at the world’s prestigious wine competitions in addition to being subject of publications of many international wine experts.

The company successfully exports products under the name Besini, Vite Vera and Kartuli Geni to name a few. Its main markets are Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong and some European countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Germany.
Due to the popularity and demand of Georgian wine in 2015, the company has fully loaded its production line and added 2 million bottles to its export countries.
