Organoleptic description: Bright pink color with shades of coral, delicate and pleasantly fruity with notes of red fruit, cherry and raspbarry. In mouth it tastes fresh and sapid, in a perfect balance between softness and acidity with fresh and delicate aftertaste.

In the early '60s Damo the grandfather planted the first vine, probably he didn't know that from that gesture would have been born more than common wine. After his absence the Anselmi family is committed so that small vineyard of approximately 3 hectares were exploited within a larger project, that Grandfather Damo could only have imagined: produce quality wine that speaks of this land and to tell his virtues.
After 50 years about, were implanted others 7 hectares of vineyard of the most precious grapes, from whom was born the top product of the company, the "Vino Nobile Damo D.O.C.G." dedicated in memory of who has begun this dream, just been reality.
"Damo" is an unique wine, wich refrlects the companys desire to keep unchanged the typical goodness of the hills of Montepulciano, without masking the flavors and characteristic aromas. Keep the intrinsic taste of the fruit and proceed with its work in accordance with the ancient tradition is our philosophy. To reserve this endless attention to every step of the production: from the collection, strictly manual, to the phase of fermentation, aging in traditional tuscan barrels, to bring out every nuance of flavor and tastes detach standardized yet.
Appeal to tradition, concern in the processing, respect for territoriality; these are the ingredients that make a unique wine Montemercurio, certainly the most representative of the policians lands.
An example of the most authentic tuscan usage is Vin Santo “1986” anydoubt, magic year wich hosts the throbbing heart of white raisins grape, it's sweet symbol of our land and special for every occasion.
