Company details

Twenty-five years ago Sausini, founded by Mario Hinojosa and currently managed by his family, bought land in San Luis, Tarija, Bolivia, with the idea of producing wine of the highest quality, free of any chemical ingredients, and in its purest form.

 Initially, the vines were imported from the best vineyards in France and only of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. It took more than 10 years to acclimate the vines to Tarija’s weather, altitude and soil. Later on, Sausini added Moscatel de Alejandria vines from which, for the past five years, they have been producing their Gran Singani Sausini; a Singani made of 100% pure white grape with no chemical ingredients and a limited production of 7000 bottles per year.

 Sausini’s most popular wines currently available for public consumption are Cabernet Sauvignon “Reserva de Familia” 2005, Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Merlot 2008, Merlot 2009, and their famous Sausini Blend/ Varietal.
