Quinta do Cerrado da Porta / Tinto Grande Reserva 2015

Grapes: Touriga Nacional (60%), Merlot (30%), Syrah (10%). 
Red wine. 14 month in new French oak barrels. Very elegante and very good structure. Excellent when paired with red meats and cheese. Best served between 17-18ºC.

Quinta do Cerrado da Porta / Branco Seco Reserva 2016

Grapes: Arinto (100%).
White wine. Unoaked. Citric green colour and discrete floral aroma. Very fresh due to the Atlantic wind influence, with persistent finish. Excellent when paired with fish dishes. Best served between 8 and 10ºC.

Peripécia / Pinot Noir 2015

Grapes: Pinot Noir (100%).
Red wine. 11 month in french oak barrels. With ruby color and intense aroma, with the delicacy and elegance typical of the variety. Pairs well with aperitifs, fatty fishes, white meat and smoked dishes. May develop sediment. Consume at 16/17°C.

Peripécia / Chardonnay 2015

Grapes: Chardonnay /100%).
White wine. Unoaked. From grapes grown in a 250 meter high slope with a strong atlantic wind influence. The grapes were manually cropped during a fresh day of august. Intense aroma with persistent finish, pairs well with seafood and fish. Excellent as an aperitif, should be consumed from 12 to 14°C.

Grapes: Pinot Noir (60%) & Touriga Nacional (40%).
Red Wine. 12 moth in Frtench oak barrels. Intense wine with high complexity, full-bodied and soft, which makes it particularly interesting when pairing cheese and red meat. May develop sediment. Consume at 16/17°C.

Company details

Located 40 kilometers north of Lisbon and 20 kilometers from the Atlantic coast, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta was acquired in 1997 by its current owners. The winery was started in 2012 with the creation of its first brand, Troviscal, with seductive red, rosé and white wines. In 2014 it launched the Peripécia brand, destined to irreverent and limited production single grape wines. In 2017 finally it launched Quinta do Cerrado da Porta, a brand destined to top-of-range sparkling and still wines. Currently the winery uses exclusively grapes of its own production, originating from 34 acres of vineyards with grape varieties particularly adapted to the conditions of a rugged terrain with strong sea winds.
