In 1956 was founded Adega Cooperativa de São Mamede da Ventosa, a project born in the heart of a wine region by excellence, with the purpose of promoting local development. The strong and constant growth over the years, transformed this project in one of the largest cooperative wineries of Portugal and one of the country's largest wine exporters.
Today, the Adega Cooperativa de São Mamede da Ventosa, has an installed capacity of over 45 million liters, more than 1,850 ha of vines in production, currently exporting more than 90% of its wines.
It has as a fundamental commitment the satisfaction of its customers and consumers. Always looking for innovative solutions that enhance the final product, an example being the various options in terms of easy opening and packaging, including the traditional bottle, as well as tetra brik and bag-in-box.
