The 9 hectares of vineyards used to make this cuvée are spread across several different terroirs within the appellation, producing the 13 grape varieties. Traditional winemaking methods and 12-14 months ageing in old “foudre” barrels give the wine a ruby-red colour with aromas of small red berries and spices. This is an elegant wine whose tannins integrate well with its rounded flavours. It will be nicely balanced after 4-6 years cellaring. Best served at 16°C with roasted and red meat, game birds and cheese.
