Natural growth, healthy development of the grapes and an ideal maturity are integral steps on the way to the best wine. We do this with respect for nature and the attitude to intervene as little as possible in the natural process. Thats why you will not find any young wines with primary fruit aromas in our range, that disappoint in taste. Even our Grüner Veltliner – Der Leichte, which means “The light one” is only released after extended aging on the fine lees. We give all our wines the time they need for perfect maturity and full taste.

So our wines continue to become more distinctive.” For Franz Türk, the typical character of each site with its own microclimate and the weather is a new challenge year after year. It combines careful observation, gentle response, and determination, when action needs to be taken quickly to ensure the quality of the wine.

A winery with a 300 year tradition means 300 years of experience in wine knowledge, which is constantly growing. We have been passing this knowledge on from generation to generation since the 18th century. Ask us how it could be even better.
