Wine production and Olearia from 3 Generations, making innovative, sometimes courageous, but with unwavering respect for tradition and the land.
The Erario family dedicates itself to wine and oil production from three generations and it has always directly managed the enterprise located in the plain of Manduria, very important Ionian-Salento area, through innovative and courageous choices, preserving respect for the tradition and this land.
Love for tradition, passion for taste, creativity and dynamism lead the company to create the Cooperativa Agricola Erario in 2006 also thanks to the support of new young members who are directly involved in the business activities, even the administration entrusted to an enterprising practitioner, Dr. Eleonora Brunetti.
Up to nearly a decade ago nobody had the aim of enhancing the real treasures of this land, washed by the sea and sun-drenched; the most ancient company tradition is youth and its members synthesize the entrepreneurial ability in tenacity and perseverance. They believe the use of the resources of an area that is one of the most suited for wine and oil culture, can lead to the production not only of High quality Wines and Oils, but also great baked and sottolii goods.
Cooperativa Agricola Erario directly follows the cultivation in several hectares of land located along the coast and in Manduria hinterland, which produce grapes with typical characteristics such as high alcoholic content and wide bouquet where cherry, berries and plums tastes stand out. Vineyards are planted with traditional techniques such as the small Apulian tree which allows to get low yields per hectare therefore high quality standards.
Cooperativa Erario constantly does experiments on its vineyards, clone selections of indigenous grapes, temperature controlled fermentation methods, traditional and modern winemaking techniques. In addition the Cooperativa cultivates olive trees where there are Celline and ogliarole olives. The harvest directly occurs from the tree ensuring the obtainment of extra virgin oils. After olives are ground in the mill through the traditional cold pressing technique by millstones; the following oil separation for surfacing guarantees that the good preserves its natural and organoleptic qualities amplifying perfumes.
