Hospitality and accomodation
Talis welcomes visitors interested in learning more about our wines and for guests wishing to linger a little longer, we offer accommodation in Ronchi di SantEgidio, a charming medieval house nestled in the hills. This is an ideal location for those wishing to explore and take in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding countryside with its rich variety of landscapes and habitats.
From here you can take a stroll through the hills and immerse yourself in nature, or head off towards the nearby coast or to the mountains, which offer a number of interesting historical villages and tourist centers. Alternatively, venture further afield and retrace the steps and fascinating history of the Friulian people, visiting places such as Cividale del Friuli, the capital of the first Longobard dukedom, the Roman military settlement of Aquileia, and the star-shaped medieval fortress town of Palmanova. Further north, there is the provincial capital, Udine, which boasts a number of beautiful squares, while to the south lies the city of Trieste, a seaport on the Adriatic Sea which, thanks to its Austro-Hungarian history, still maintains its Mittel European feel.
