The Maria Casanovas Brut de Brut is the maximum expression of the aromas and flavours of the Penedès Region. This exceptional Brut Nature provides a fitting tribute to the forbears of Maria Casanovas since began cultivating vines. An open, harmonious wine which gives a good voice to the natural qualities of its grape varieties.
 

Tasting Notes

 A pale, yellowy-green hue. Fresh, light and fruity bouquet. Balanced acidity which complements the wine´s clean aromas. Very good carbonic presence with citric finish. Incentive hints of apple and delicate toasted bread.

Stylish with outstanding blend highlights the qualities of this Glaç non vintage. Young, fresh with intense aromas, GLAÇ is the younger member of the Maria Casanovas´s range. Since its launch in 2008, it has delighted the wine lovers both for its consistency of taste and its unique design. GLAÇ is the portrayal of the new generation Cava.

 Tasting Notes
Light yellow. Highly perfumed, complex bouquet evokes lemon, orange, toasty lees and white flowers. Nervy citrus flavours give weight to heftier melon and pear with air. Fresh with persistent finish.

Perfect as an aperitif or mid-afternoon treat.
Ideal with rice, carpaccio and mild cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Nice raspberry pink with bright reflections. Intense and delicate.
On a background of aging we find an expressive and slightly juicy red fruit with touches of citrus and fresh memories of herbaceous with a subtle floral note.
Fine constant bubbles drawing a beautiful rosary. Slight hints of red fruit and citrus aromas of lemon. The palate expresses elegance, fresh with a lingering finish.

Perfect as an aperitif or mid-afternoon treat. Ideal with fried fish, carpaccio and mild cheeses. Delicious with Joselito ham.

The predominance of Chardonnay provides the body and structure of this Gran Reserva, while the presence of Pinot Noir adds the elegance and finesse, defining the Cellar style.

A touch of the traditional varieties completes this beautiful blend.

Tasting Notes

Light straw-coloured with persistent small bubbles and a classy bouquet. Aromas of yeast (backery), mineral, apple and hazelnuts lead to a full-flavoured, intense Cava with a firm palate-feel, crisp flavours and a lengthy finish.

Our Pinot Noir Rosé is the ultimate definition of medium pink colour. With a touch of Chardonnay, its impeccable balance is the end result to create this red fruit-based juice with intensely perfumed bouquet.

To achieve its intense color and aromas, maceration takes place between 12 to 24 hours, of which every several hours the color is observed to define the style of the Cellar. A truly unique sparkling Rosé.

 Tasting Notes

 Dark pink-coloured with an enticing perfume of strawberry, cherry and rose petal. Dry, crisp, and refreshing, this tasty bubbly has excellent depth and length.
A must have as an aperitif for special occasions, and perfect with Pasta, white meats and as an afternoon treat.

In 1984 Maria Casanovas is introduced to Cava by the family younger generation, whose dedication, enthusiasm and hard work have succeeded in introducing Maria Casanovas´s cavas into the best wine merchants and the best restaurants for the national and international markets.
The Maria Casanovas´s winery is located at the heart of Penedès region, in Sant Jaume Sesoliveres, 10 minutes from Sant Sadurní D´Anoia. Its soil and its Mediterranean climate enable the production of unique variety grapes. We strictly monitor 9 hectares of vines throughout the year from the varieties such Xarel·lo, Parellada, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The landscape embraces breathtaking views of the hills, vines, forest and olive trees, with the greatest respect for the environment,

Since its establishment, Maria Casanovas has always produced a unique and elegant Cava which has developed into a highly regarded brand thanks to its constancy commitment and innovative spirit.

Maria Casanovas distinguishes itself in the art of coupage, ie the blending of different varieties of wine which lay the foundations to the still wine that will finally be developed into an exceptional cava. We create our medium and long ageing cavas from the traditional Penedès varieties: Xare·lo, Macabeo and Parellada.
