D.O.C. Friuli Colli Orientali
It is an ancient Friulan variety with very well-defined characteristics.

Harvest: Late, by hand in crates with careful selection of the grapes
Vinification: After harvesting, the grapes are separated from the stalks and lightly pressed, then undergo a 20-hours cryomaceration period. By means of delicate pressing, the must is separated from the skins followed by a natural cold settling, than follows fermentation in stainless steel vats under controlled temperature. The wine remains in steel tank until bottling, where it is left to refine for a further 3 months.

Suitability for Storage: 5 years
Organoleptic characterictics: Its colour is straw yellow fading into green. Fine delicate, intensely scented of wild flowers, dry and refreshing, soft and smooth, with a neat taste of bitter almond, round.
Best served at: 10° - 12°
This wine is an ideal accompaniment to light hors-d'oeuvre, noodle soups, cheeses and S. Daniele ham.
