The Château Saint-Esprit “Essentiel” rosé is a blend of the three main Provence varietals:
- Le Grenache for its balance and its typical Provencal characters
- The Cinsault for a supplement of finesse, crispiness and elegance
- The Mourvedre which gives subtle spicy notes.
Grenache and Cinsault are processed together while the Mourvedre, ripen later, is harvested at the end of the season.
The grapes are harvested in cool morning temperatures. A full destemming and a short cold maceration are processed before pressing. Fermentation occurs at a low temperature, in temperature controlled stainless tanks in order to enhance the fresh fruity flavours.
At degustation, this wine is fine and well balanced. Its fresh fruity characters and its crispiness will match perfectly Mediterranean dishes as well as your casual aperitifs with friends. A great pleasurable wine on any occasion.
