The CATTIN Estate just opened a brand new winery featuring a rooftop tasting room offering a breathtaking view over the vineyard, the mountains, and even the Alps ! This new venue offers to the visitor a unique experience as he/she can taste our wines paired with local cheeses or other fresh farm products.

Moreover people can also practice some activities troughout the vineyard by visiting it by foot, bike, e bige and even by segwayd.

We are also  a good alternative for professionals, they can invest the place which is modern and practice to do seminars.

Company details

Maison CATTIN

In the late 17th century, François Cattin, born in Porrentruy, Switzerland, came to settle in this small Alsatian village of Voegtlinshoffen locating 10 kilometers south of Colmar in the Southern Alsace. In 1720, François Cattin decided to become a winemaker in addition to his job as a builder. The next 12 generations continued his legacy and this how the family business started !

Owning more than 60 ha of vineyard, the Cattin family is the largest family-owned independant and family-operated Estates in Alsace. The plots, locate either under Grand Cru appellation, AOC Crémant d’Alsace or AOC Alsace, spread over three places: in Voegtlinshoffen, around Steinbach and near Colmar.

In 2007, Jacques Junior, joined the company after having studied engineering in agronomy and winemaking. In collaboration with his father, Jacques Cattin Senior, Jacques junior took charge of the wine-making and the financial department. His wife, Anaïs, graduated from a prestigious business school and with strong experiences toward international commerce, joined the company in 2012. She is currently responsible for international sales department exporting wine through 40 countries.
