Austrian-born Hermann Seifried and his Kiwi wife Agnes are pioneers of wine-making in New Zealand's South Island, establishing their first vineyard in 1973. Over 40 years later Hermann and Agnes are joined by their three adult children, Heidi, Chris and Anna in running the family business. Growing grapes across 9 sustainably accredited vineyards in the Nelson region, Seifried Estate exports to 24 countries and looking to expand European distribution.
