On 30.09.2017 the HAROMEX company celebrates its 25th anniversary! In 1992 John van Soest founded the family company - HAROMEX Development BV - in the Netherlands, active in the duty-free business and as suppliers to the Armed Forces. 13 years later, due to constantly increasing demands, a concept of co-operation and delivery to the domestic market with finest spirits was developed and put into practice. Today, HAROMEX Development GmbH is managed by the sons, Harald and Roger van Soest, as a non-branded and independent company in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. HAROMEX sees itself as a reliable partner for high-quality niche products in the world of spirits with a strong, broadly diversified international portfolio of over 4,000 products in the segments of Rum, Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Liqueurs, Cognac, Brandy and Bitters.
Niche supplier and trendsetter
HAROMEX is constantly searching for undiscovered treasures, raw diamonds and innovative products and producers (distilleries) in the world of spirits, so as to offer customers more enjoyment of the palate and ultimately lead them to new and exciting taste and aroma worlds. Smallest batch bottlings, forgotten rarities, (as yet) unknown distilleries operating carefully and uniquely, as well as absolute novelties and new and inventive ideas of Master Blenders worldwide, are included in this search. With almost 800 different Rum brands, HAROMEX is the leading Rum importer in Europe and is proud to be able to simplify the search for customers and act as a missionary in this growing segment.
We are living in a very fast-moving world and the spirits market also is developing faster and more digitally - the balance between fulfilling ever-growing demands of customers and end-users, and the loyalty to its own tasks and objectives, is a challenge that HAROMEX will gladly and openly take up. By caring for customers and individually supporting them, especially with the unique "tool" of the catalogue (book) "Experience the Variety", which is updated yearly, HAROMEX tries to support its partners in their development - not only customers but also new producers (distilleries) wanting to establish themselves.
