Verdil is a local variety that has been revived for the making of high quality wines.  It produces wines of intense aromatics, ripe fruit and good complexity.
Straw colour with glints of green, clear, transparent, attractive to look at.
Powerful, lingering primary aromas of ripe white stone fruit – peach, nectarine.
Dry and with a wealth of fruit flavours on the palate, appetising and with a fresh, balanced aftertaste.

A pure delight for the senses.

Blanc d’Enguera

White wine from our vineyard in Casa Corones, in Alforins Valley.

The soil in this vineyard is white limestone. Its surprising whiteness on the surface gives its name to the entire region (Vall d'Albaida), where  our valley is located. Rain absorbs moisture like a sponge. When it dries up, the upper layers form a natural barrier, restricting evaporation. This reserve of moisture contributes to the roots development.

The soul of our wine is composed mainly by Verdil, indigenous Alforins variety. It is blended with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. The grapes are placed in a cold store for 15 days at -5ºC. It is partially fermented in new French Oak.

Company details

The Perez-Pardo family comes from the Caroig Massif, a rugged, very mountainous area with deep ravines, broad valleys and a very long tradition of wine making.

It is located in the southwest of the Province of Valencia, in the River Clariano district, which comes under the ‘Valencia’ Designation of Origin.

The Bodega was founded in 1999.  Its motivation was that of building up a winery entirely based on our own vineyards, so as to produce wines by our own extensive work, beginning with our vines and ending with the satisfaction of the customers who taste our wines.

At present Bodegas Enguera possesses 160 hectares of its own vineyards, distributed between two specific areas. The first lies in the municipality of Fontanars dels Alforins, where we have approximately 60 hectares in the Casa Corones and Casa Lluch properties. The second is in the municipality of Enguera; there we have some 100 hectares located in various properties, the most important of which are the Antolín, Bañona, Benali, Toñuna and Venta Corrales.
