Barolo Cerretta

Grape variety
100% Nebbiolo
Origins
Cerretta is an important CRU of Barolo. The vineyard is located in Serralunga d’Alba village. Altitude of 390m.
Type of soil
Calcareous and rich in iron
Harvesting time
October
Vinification
From 12 to 16 days in steel tanks with carefully controlled temperature.
Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in 1600 liter French oak barrels, and in some small 400 liters barrels for 36 months.
Bottling
It takes place after the necessary fining in barrel; at least 6 months before being marketed.

Nebbiolo Parigi

Grape variety
100% Nebbiolo
Origins
The vineyards are located in Alba and Diano d’Alba villages.
Type of soil
Limestone/Calcareous.
Harvesting time
End of September – beginning of October
Vinification
8-10 days in steel tanks with carefully controlled temperature.
Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12-14 months in 400 liters tonneaux. 60% of the barrels are made with American oak, the remaining 40% with French oak)
Bottling
It takes place after the necessary fining in a barrel; at least 3 months before being marketed.

Roero Arneis

Grape variety
100% Arneis.
Origins
The vineyards are located in different villages: Vezza d’Alba, Corneliano, Monteu Roero.
Type of soil
Silt and sand.
Harvesting time
End of August
Vinification
After a soft pressing of the grapes, and the separation of the skins, the must is transferred into steel tanks and vinified with the new cold processing techniques. The temperature is controlled by means of a central computerized system, which guarantees uniform development of the wine by intervening on the bio-metabolism of the yeast. Any chemical additive is used.
Ageing
The wine remain into steel tanks for 2-3 months.
Bottling
It normally takes place at the beginning of the year following the harvest.

About us

Company details

The company was born from the strong passion of Mauro Sebaste, son of Sylla, a famous woman and a true Langa wine expert.
After Sylla's premature death, Mauro leaves the family business and, propelled by his strong passion for wine, he pursues a single objective: producing quality wines.
With the help of his wife, Maria Teresa, and his in-laws, he sets up a newcompany and creates a wine-producing business. And today the next generation has joined the family business: Sylla working in accounting and Angelica painting the labels.
To carry out his plan, he starts with a slow, meticulous search for vineyards: each of them with suitable features of
typicality, geographical location and exposure.
Nowadays, Mauro manages more than thirty hectares of vineyards. He followsripening cycles with absolute devotion and care in order to achieve his one and only objective: producing total and uncompromising quality.
The producing cellar is located in Alba - Frazione Gallo via Garibaldi 222 bis.
The aging cellar is in Diano D'Alba Piazza Trento Trieste n°5.
