Roero DOCG Riserva "Giacomo"

100% Nebbiolo, harvested: late October, handpicking in baskets of 20 kg. It represents a selection of the Nebbiolo grapes from this vineyard. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in contact with the skins in steel, 2 délestages and malolactic fermentation in wood. Aged 3 years in small barrels of 300 litres, then in the bottle. The nose is intense and fragrant with strawberries, cherries, liquorice and chocolate sensations. Dry and long taste, rightly tannic. This is an important wine that represents our more personal interpretation of the grape and its territory: the Roero.

Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore

100% Barbera, harvest: End of September, handpicking in baskets of 20 kg. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in contact with the skins in steel, 2 délestages and malolactic fermentation in wood. Aged 18 months in small 300 litres oak barrels and 1 year in the bottle. Deep ruby colour changing in garnet red. Vinous and intense perfume but still elegant, exalted by the wood. Dry, full bodied, with a bitter sensation, it becomes soft and harmonic while evolving.
